A weekend or two ago (they fly by so quickly!) we walked one of our weekend routes, which has a nice view of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek Bridge (interesting info in that link BTW)… This bridge goes from Charleston to James Island, SC. It’s one that is used often – the bridge opens on the half-hour (when there is a large boat/sailboat) between 9AM-4PM Monday-Friday and from 9AM-7PM on weekends and holidays.
Such a stunning view with all the old oak trees and the marsh – One of the many reasons it’s so wonderful to live in Charleston!
